September 2009
With the last of a spectacular summer finally upon us, we gently ease into autumn. No more music festivals, roof top parties & midday drinking! Nevertheless, we aren't too concerned as there's plenty of awesome music to pull us through. Come on, dig out your scarves & download this month's podcast!
We're excited to welcome two seminal independent labels into the Hear No Evil fold. Michigan based Ghostly International - home to the fabulous Matthew Dear - and London based Peacefrog - dwelling of the mighty Jose Gonzales - have both offered up a host of new releases.
We've also been getting down to the new Hudson Mohawke album - out later this month on Warp. Dorian Concept's'Trilingual Dance Sexperience' is gladly on loop. Throwing Snow (The Future Without) has been providing some electro?acoustic delicacies, while Little Dragon (Peacefrog), Tycho and Lusine (Ghostly International) deliver some of this year's most forward thinking post-pop.
Wow, what a lot of great new stuff!
